I teach in a Title 1 school that is 100% in person. 85% of our population lives below the poverty level. Our students tend to be very low academically and parent involvement in their education is very low.
My students are very sweet but the only time they are learning is in school. I need to make sure they have access to all the best strategies I can provide for them. Reading and having access to literature is a top priority to create learners.
