With these new manipulatives, my students will be able to develop social skills and increase their cognitive development by sharing and working together and exploring the world around them inside the classroom. These tools will also help strengthen their fine and gross motor skills, social skills and cognitive development.
The best way to promote these skills is to provide activities that will encourage such outcomes. Students will be able to choose manipulatives/activities that interest them. While independent play is acceptable the outcome is to be able to interact with peers and adults. These will help students interact with peers in social settings. The best way to promote these skills is to provide activities that will encourage such outcomes. The activities will help students interact with peers in social settings. With students interacting in social settings it improves their language and pragmatics by following directions, participating in play with peers and using words for social functions Students will be demonstrate improved fine motor skills in order to complete cutting, pre-writing, and art activities in their preschool environment.
These resources will help my students have day to day experiences that involve contact with other students and enrich day to day classroom experience. Pre-K is the first step in their educational journey, my goal is to make Ms. Smith's class memorable
