In these unprecedented times of teaching, we are asked to teach in person students and remote students at the same time. One way I am able to do this is with interactive lessons, videos, and formative assessments through interactive presentations. This way of teaching is quite successful with hybrid teaching. It does however, rely on all students having a computer, tablet or phone. In absence of these devices for those students who are in person they would need to see the presentation on a smartboard or projected on a screen. This would allow ALL students to be a part of each lesson. In these trying times, we need to make sure ALL students feel a part of and have the opportunity to engage fully in my lessons. In health, we focus on social emotional learning, mental/emotional health, nutrition, puberty, drugs, alcohol and reproductive health and abstinence. The addition of a projector for my students will help them to achieve goals they set for my class and help them to perform to the best of their ability. Even though the classroom situation is different this year the incorporation of a projector will help ALL students to be a part of a class and thrive.
