Our district realizes that most of our students are in need of some Social & Emotional Learning (SEL) BEFORE they can address their academic needs. We have partnered with Scarlett Lewis (Choose Love) to start implementing some SELs within our schools. The National School Counseling Convention is in Seattle, Washington this year and I KNOW I will learn some new ways to reach my students. I LOVE to learn from others and bring new material to our students. Even though we are using the Choose Love curriculum, I'd love to implement other ideas from other regions and other school counselors.
