These books and book bins will continue to help foster a love of reading in our classroom. By receiving new books and bins, I can provide my students with a sense of ownership when it comes to reading. I have tried my best to provide my students with a dynamic and diverse classroom library experience, but as a first year teacher I do not have the proper funds to give my students the materials I wish I could. The bins will allow my first graders to have their own space to house books that they love, without having to shove them into their desks to get ruined. The new books will give them access to award winning picture books and leveled readers to meet the needs of every student.

About my class
