My Art classroom serves about 190 9-12th grade students at a campus that is shared by a public high school and visual and performing arts charter school. The school draws students from diverse backgrounds all over our rural county in the beautiful Sierra foothills of California.
Many of my students come from middle to low-income families.
My students take pride in their elective choices and love being able to express themselves through art. Every day, I am inspired by their resiliency and creative energy. They deserve high quality tools and materials to work with.
