The Central Dogma of Biology is a three step process that begins with DNA replication, leads into transcription and ends with translation. This process can be complicated for many students to understand without some type of hands-on activity. Incorporating technology and STEM activities is one way I can achieve subject comprehensive.
I believe the Flow of Genetics Information Kit will provide the necessary hands-on experience my students need to expand their knowledge about DNA replication, transcription and translation.
The learned concepts are not only important for tests in class, but for a state test students will take at the end of the year.
