The use of these books will help my students with their decoding, as well as reading fluency. I also selected books that are culturally diverse, especially because I work at a school where many of the students speak a dual language.
I service small groups ranging from 2-4 students in each group, working with them 30 minutes a week three times a week. We work on fluency and decoding, while understanding the meaning of the story, as well as working story on story elements.
The materials I selected will be used for my small groups and used as above mentioned.
