My students currently have to move their chairs over to the keyboards and back in order to have a place to sit. By having benches already under the keyboards students can come in and have more time to work instead of moving chairs from one side of the room to the other. This will give them more time learning how to play the keyboard. My students will learn how to play several songs with the correct hand placement. Some of my classes work on performing duets. This is a hands on activity and my students always want more time learning how to play.
