My first grade students will not only enjoy getting to use the materials provided, but the materials will bridge the gap between science, technology, engineering and math that my students currently face. STEM is our future, and in order for my students to be successful, they need to be exposed as often as possible.
With the requested materials, I will connect STEM across the curriculum. Students will use materials to solve problems encountered in stories. Students will use materials to help solve real world problems and present their solutions. Students will also use materials to work with partners or with small groups helping to strengthen their teamwork.
