Our performing arts students produce a collaborative Spring musical annually. Each year we spend $2000 - $2500 renting wireless microphones. This cost cuts into the ticket revenue which is used to fund the next year's musical production.
Our students work extremely hard to put on quality performances however none of the costs associated with these productions are funded by the school. All costs are covered by student based fund raising. With the loss of not having a musical production in 2020 or 2021 due to COVID-19, we have not been able to generate enough revenue to continue funding the microphone rental. Now seems like the right time to try to purchase our own system.
