Working in a district that is currently experiencing budget cuts presents financial hardships. These materials will provide my students with the tools necessary to make each day a little easier. We will be able to focus on academics and life skills and not have to worry about searching for materials. Classroom basics are necessary to help my students be successful. By providing my students with these materials they will be able to have a sanitary environment. I will be able to teach my students daily cleaning routines. I will be able to complete self-awareness projects by using all the markers, pencils, pens, crayons and highlighters. I will then display them in the class and share at events like an open house, literacy night, etc.
