Our Asian/Asian American Heritage group at school is planning and leading a Lunar New Year Celebration with the community in mind on Thursday Feb 6, 2020. They are eager and excited to share how their families celebrate their New Year. The students want to provide activities, decorations and food for this event. Their families are providing the food, as a sponsor I want to help them acquire the activities and decorations. The red and gold table cloths represent the colors of celebration. The students want to show how to make paper origami, play chinese checkers, create beautiful calligraphy, use chopticks, and see a dragon puppet show. The materials I could find on ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ will help fund most of the activities. Your contribution will help them share who they are, what they love, and show their pride in their heritage.
