Why do we need these STEM kits? We are opening a first year STEM lab at our school. Many of our students do not have the opportunities needed to become more knowledgeable in Science, Technology, and Engineering. Building and designing with these hands on STEM kits will give my studnets the push they need to be more successful in this area. I feel as an educator it is not only my job to academically teach my scholars, but to also prepare them for the future. No one can deny that Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math is the future. It's evident in practically all areas of our lives. As of now, our new STEM lab needs materials to make it succesful and appealing to our students. With these new STEM materials I would be able to introduce kids to new science, math, and engineering and technology ideas and concepts.
