These materials will make a huge difference to my students and me! My students love reading but I lack the shelving space with having only one bookshelf. This shelf is more of a display that will help catch their eyes. I want as many ways to encourage my little readers to read more. I hope to have students help me display books they enjoyed as well. The pillows will be used in both the reading nook and the calming corner too. My students are learning how to be in tune with their emotions and having a calming corner that reignites their brains will encourage them to refocus and continue their learning paths. Also, the pillows are a comfortable alternative for the reading nook. My hope is they will relax and enjoy a good book.
