Providing books in the home languages will show the appreciation we feel for the diversity the families bring to our community. Our school strives for all families to feel supported and welcome in our community. Having children's families engaged in their school is an important factor in the successful education of each child. By taking visible action to include the array of family languages and cultures in our school library we will increase the ease for families to participate in our school community. These books will be placed in our library in a specific display recognizing the contributions of all regions, languages, and cultures of our families.
