Chromebooks will support my student's success in a few ways. They will be able to access the curriculum in a more interactive ways including using the internet and applications such as Khan Academy, Lexia, and Career Exploration.
Chromebooks open up a different world to students with orthopedic impairments. I have a few students that would benefit from the use of Chromebooks due to their personal challenges with fine motor skills. Writing with traditional pencil and paper can be very difficult for these students and being able to type rather than write answers will make it easier for them to be a part of the class and be at their best.
The digital world is expanding and we must provide access for our students if we expect them to be digitally competent. Chromebooks for immediate access is the most efficient and expedient option to make this dream a reality.
