How do you teach kids who don't believe that school is important or good or can even be fun? How do you build trust when they have been cast out of the system? How do you inspire them to push past their own limitations? Our kids need extra support to make learning engaging and meaningful. They come from rougher home environments and have all experienced trauma so they haven't been able to access school in the traditional sense. Our program provides therapeutic support while re-engaging them in school. Normal lessons won't cut it. Everything needs to be hands on, fun, and engaging. They have been labeled and rejected and don't believe school works for them. Our job is to change how we do school with them so they find their power and can believe in themselves again.
