Our students have special needs that require extensive amounts of durable medical and adaptive equipment. This includes wheelchairs, standers, walkers, braces and positioning chairs. All of the equipment supports the students in their transportation to and from school, within the classroom and their school environment. Equipment provides choices in positioning for learning, options for play, and greater independence with mobility. As the students' physical therapist, proper tools and storage is critical for to manage, modify, repair and adjust all this equipment to ensure success in each student meeting their academic and motor goals. Durable medical equipment is very expensive and requires constant care to the necessary safety, fit, function and engagement of our students in daily learning, moving and play. Please support me in purchasing the necessary tool cabinet, storage trays, and cubbies to guarantee each student's individualized success.
