I would love to have a classroom library full of diverse books of various reading levels. It is also important to provide students that are not yet reading on their own, many opportunities to listen to reading. This helps build vocabulary and fluency.
My students desire to grow as readers and need the resources to make that happen. With your support, I can fill out my classroom literacy lab and classroom library in order to build stronger readers. Research says that if a student is behind in the third grade they are likely to never catch up and the gap will only increase.
