Students are able to learn about nature and how living things interact with nature in a pseudo natural environment. Students are able to experience these animals up close and able to monitor behaviors and interactions among the animals.
Many of the the students have not had opportunities to view living creatures in their environments. Many have lost interest in life sciences and biology due to not feeling engaged in the learning process. A trip to the zoo will serve to bridge the gap in order to facilitate engagement and excitement.
Students have the opportunity to create meaning memories linked with their education. This trip could provide ample opportunity for students to regain their joy in discovery!
About my class
