Our county has chosen plan B to begin the school year, which means students will be learning from home and in the classroom. Technology is a huge part of making this transition successful, and by having these items I will be able to create innovating, engaging, and resourceful math and science lessons for my students whether they are at home or in school. Having a technology station set-up in my classroom that students will be able to use each day will make them more comfortable when they are learning from home.
The iPad will be set-up as a station in class that students will use daily to work on project-based learning assignments in math and science. Students will also work with other students using the iPad to create videos for projects and assignments which is where the tripod stand and the microphone will also be used. This will give students a new learning experience working independently and in teams to create video lessons and projects. The technology station will provide hands-on, real-world learning opportunities in two subject areas for all of my students.
