With winter upon us, many of the children at Garfield do not have warm clothing such as gloves, hats and scarves to help make the winter months bearable.
Without warm clothing and accessories, many of these children will struggle to keep warm this winter, making it hard to play outside at recess and enjoy the beautiful Pacific Northwest winter.
Having warm clothes and accessories will enable the children to be comfortable outside and not dread recess time which allows them the opportunity to be kids and play outside and get some much needed energy out.

About my class
