When we returned to in-person learning full-time this school year, we started realizing the impact that the pandemic has had on our elementary students. Many of these students had not been in school for over a year and a half and a lot has changed in their lives.
We noticed right away that many of our students had forgotten how to PLAY and have fun together. So simple, yet so important! The 3rd grade team has been working hard to target these areas during our daily physical education time. We teach the importance of good sportsmanship, teamwork, rules of playground games, soccer drills & games, physical fitness, etc.
Our PE time gives our 3rd graders something to look forward to every day! Unfortunately, our resources are very limited and we do not have enough Covid-19 friendly PE equipment to teach our students effectively.

About my class
