My students have always wanted to work in a 3 dimensional medium. They have mastered working in 2 dimensions. I think the tactile feeling of the clay will be so beneficial to my students, especially my students with severe anxiety. I have many highly creative lesson plans to show my students. I would love to show my students how to construct musical instruments, abstract birdhouses and realistic animals. We have 2 beautiful electric kilns just waiting to fire some amazing clay. Unfortunately we do not have the funds for materials. Students will learn to make a rough draft and take it to a completed piece of fired and glazed ceramics.
