The resources requested will help provide opportunities for all of my students to participate in engaging, hands-on activities that will help to increase their development in fine motor, adaptive and academic skills. Simple learning manipulatives and cause and effect toys help my lower functioning students learn the fundamental skills needed for later developmental learning. They serve a duel purpose in enhancing small group instruction with hands-on materials for students to learn colors, shapes, counting and other academic skills. Having a range of quality manipulatives, toys and books helps insure that each individual child is given an opportunity to explore, learn and develop their skills in an educational environment through playful learning.
