I have very active students in my room, so a sensory table is perfect for engaging and keeping their attention. Hands-on learning is the best way for children to make sense of the world around them. With a sand and water table, the students will engage all of their senses with fun lessons that include treasure hunting for alphabet, digging through rice to find colorful gems, sorting animals, and washing their classroom baby dolls. We can explore science principles through watching the effects of gravity on sand, or seeing sound waves make the water ripple. Engaging lessons will create a love of learning that can last a lifetime!
