Our students have the opportunity to do a project for the District Science Fair in which the students will be able to make scientific inquiries and do research. The computers will help my students research STEM challenges, extend their learning on the project, make a model of the project, and complete a computer report.
They will be able to use the computer to research specific world problems, and then imagine the possibilities of solving that problem by searching what others have tried. They will use computer programs to plan out steps to build a model of their project. After the model is built, they will be able to record improvements and then communicate feedback to others. They will be able to share new approaches using the internet.
