Currently my classroom is bare being a new school counselor. I'm working hard on making an environment where my students feel welcome because often times when they come to me they are either already in a crisis situation or we are working on skills to prevent any major behaviors. Not only is it hard for the students I see to be successful, but I also want the school as a whole to be successful and helping these kids will help everyone by providing less distractions and allowing the teacher to teach and not have their attention taken away from students who are having issues. I split my time between 2 schools, so I have double the space to put together
