This project will help my students have a "special" spot during our morning meeting and lesson times. It will allow them to have a visual of where their boundries are while they are listening and learning. It will allow us to feel like we are a community while we all participate on the carpet together. It will also help bring bright colors to our pretty bare classroom as I am just starting to take on this class. Having a classroom rug will help bring the class together as I start to learn who they are and their needs and abilities.
