Right now Summit Academy Art students are working on broken down folding tables that have been patched up with duct tape and bent back into shape, in a crowded art room full of supplies with no storage. We are looking at making new tables for the room. Utilizing metal cabinets as supporting legs (around 26-33" in height)
This Project will Increase the classrooms storage and functionality. I (the Art Teacher) will be using my repurposed would to create a two table tops large enough to fit 8 students each. We need 2 metal cabinets on each end and middle to safely support the students working on top of the tables. That's 12 metal cabinets. These cabinets can be can be two drawer filing cabinets, metal safe boxes, and cleaning supply cabinets. Anything that can store art supplies in.
