I would love for all of my wonderful learners to feel safe, happy, and comfortable in our classroom, so they are able to put forth their best efforts, and ultimately achieve each of their goals. Giving them the opportunity to have seating options while they are learning supports their need to move and feel comfortable at school. My learners need flexible seating choices to support their need for an active, comfortable learning environment. They are excited to expand their young minds each day, and I would love to support their ambition to learn by providing them with cushions, wobble chairs, bounce bands, and more. As they are able to support their own needs for movement and sensory input, they will then become more engaged in their learning, leading to more on-task behavior as well. My students will also feel empowered to make personal choices while recognizing what they need to focus and learn best with at the time. I truly believe that giving them a warm, comfortable environment is the key behind helping our learners feel more successful, while uplifting them to keep trying their best, all with smiles on their faces! My fantastic learners will truly enjoy learning in a classroom environment that provides a variety of seating choices. I cannot wait to see them smile when they see their new flexible seating classroom!
