Acquiring a new sensory table will help my students be able to explore all kinds of things in a fun and safe environment. I plan on using it every single day in the classroom for science, sensory, and math to help build social and emotional skills with sharing and friendships as my students work together to explore new things every week. Students will also be able to develop their language skills by talking about the various textures and items used in the sensory table. Our class currently has a sensory table that is too small and shallow for many different items and makes keeping the area contained very difficult.
