On rainy and snowy days, we are stuck inside! Our preschoolers need to move those little bodies and stay active.
Gross motor skills are related to healthy brain development. We would like to put together a "kit" of indoor gross motor materials we can use on the days we cannot get outside to play.
We will have different centers set up so that the children practice movement skills such as: hopping, jumping, kicking, catching, throwing, balancing, and more.
The children will develop a love for fitness and healthy choices. Being stuck inside does not have to be a bad thing; help us make it a fun thing!
