In order to be an excellent art teacher, I learn alongside my students, stay engaged with the world around me, and create captivating invitations to learn. In my classroom students become clever observers, strive to understand social issues through art in order to grow as moral citizens, collaborate, create with both spontaneity and intent, explore multitudes of possibilities, fashion links between art and other areas of study (STEAM: Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math), and train their hands, minds, and eyes to communicate their inner thoughts.

About my class
