I will be using the dry erase markers and white boards in my Guided Reading groups as well as during math. My students will write letters, sight words, and sentences to connect reading and writing. My students will use the pencils, paper, and Crayola Twistable crayons to write their own stories and illustrate them. We will use the pocket chart to develop reading skills as we build poems and stories using sentence strips. The magnetic letters will be used during our word work time. Students will build words with the magnetic letters, build their names and sentences.
During math time my students will write numbers, math equations and solve math problems using the dry erase markers and white boards.
