Teaching 6th and 7th-grade math with distance learning can be a huge challenge. The concepts in 6th and seventh grade are foundational for success in algebra. With the challenge of distance learning, I found that students had trouble hearing or seeing what was going on when I was teaching remotely. I want to be able to give my students the best distance learning experience possible.
By donating to this project you will be helping students be successful in these challenging times. To make this experience happen I need a few technology upgrades for my classroom. I need a wide-angle webcam so that I can use a physical whiteboard to teach my students when I can use my classroom. Students need to see me and what I am writing to help learn mathematical concepts. A microphone so that students can hear me clearly, to understand the steps. A drawing tablet so I can write on virtual whiteboards when not in my classroom with a wide-angle webcam.
