I am asking for help because I want my students to have the same opportunity I had when I was in school. Having a complete set of books for my classes would help them really get into the story and even interact with the characters. This book will allow students to hear the harsh realities of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Many of the problems that occur in this book are part of the harsh reality that they live through each day. My hopes for doing this book study are to hopefully have them realize that their choices and their actions have consequences that we do not have control over.
