By receiving the materials needed, students will be able to grow their love of reading. Having a cozy reading corner will give the students a comfortable feel, just like at home! By having flexible seating (chair and couch) students will be able to curl up with a good book in a spot other than their desks and enjoy a good book! The boombox will also be an important part of the reading corner. Students who still struggle to read on their own can listen to a book on CD. These children can hear the book and follow along at the same time in a paper copy. Doing this will allow students to grow as readers!
