Currently, informational text has been a challenge for my students because they haven't experienced a great deal of things. Through this project, students will learn about text features, how to research a project, write to a source, use punctuation, spelling and how to build to only a sentence, but a paragraph and include illustrations/pictures and write captions for each. The students will pick an animal and not only research the animal on the internet, but read 3-5 books on their animal and write about their: habitat, food, environment, and shelter/
