Hands on material is key to learning in Kindergarten. These materials will allow my students to build skills necessary for reading and writing. My students are engaged and building executive functioning skills when they are using manipulatives to help them learn. The magnetic letters will be used in centers and sensory bins to help students build their sight word knowledge. The building materials will be used to integrate learning through play. Students will work together to reinforce and expand their learning and skills. My students will gain independence and confidence with these materials. They will also learn how to corporate and work together.
