COVID-19 precautionary measures have allowed science to be less engaging. My amazing students need more resources to work independently and portable to move all around the school. We would like to take our science class outdoors and allow students to work in the fresh air. Having a portable STEM cart will allow my students to experience a Magic School Day. We will pick up and have "class" in different areas of the school. Having more supplies for individual work is important in keeping everyone safe, engaged, and ready to learn. As a Teach for America Alumni, military veteran, and Honeywell Educators at Space Camp participant I am dedicated to bringing innovative lessons to my students.
