When the students enter our Special Education classroom, I strive to develop activities that do not feel like regular school work. This can be difficult with the funding available. Often non-readers feel frustrated, deflated or angered by grade level academic demands. I am hoping to make the often difficult task of learning to read a fun experience. Games and activities like these on my list can be used with even the most reluctant student in a team manner. I would so appreciate the opportunity to have the supplies I believe could create a fun learning approach. These activities would help.
