It is all too often that science is overlooked and undervalued. What we need to understand is that science is everywhere and used all the time. From walking down the street to painting your living room you are using science. Our preschoolers are still learning about these basic things such as colors, gravity, body parts, 5 senses, etc. We take this knowledge for granted.
My students need diverse tools to help convert play into scientific knowledge. We can use these tools to learn about all the things stated above. We will mix colors and explore beyond primary and secondary colors. We will learn about different parts of our body and what they are used for.
Please help me partner with my students to not just tell them the truths of science but to let them explore it and find deeper understanding through independant learning!
