These supplies and new curriculum will continue to support my students at home. By having supplies, students will be able to do projects that I usually assign in-seat. I want my students to be enthusiastic about school and I have found school supplies are essential for that!
I want to make learning at home as stress free as possible. I have found that when students do not have access to basic supplies, they are not as engaged as they could be. More than anything, I want my students to be enthusiastic about learning and joining the class each day. The supplies will help inspire creativity as well as something tangible.
I also hope that with some of the basic supplies and curriculum requested, they can experiment at home and feel some sort of connection to the physical classroom! I hope that through using a science journal, my students will have a greater access to the 5 Es of science; Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate and Evaluate. By being able to use the 5 Es, they will hopefully gain a greater access to content in the area of electricity, forces and motion!
