Our school has a slow start to the morning. We have 30-40 minutes to eat breakfast and prepare our brains for learning. Interactions and reactions to others are such an important part of building an environment where students are safe and successful. However, the students must be taught to interact and react to situations in a productive way. There is no better way than while playing board games and completing puzzles.
Giving the students the opportunity to collaborate and learn to respectfully agree and disagree with one another is key to building these healthy relationships. This is why playing board games and working together to complete jigsaw puzzles is essential. Your donation will give us this opportunity during breakfast each morning. Puzzles and board games would give us all a calm, collaborative, fun, and exciting start to our day.
