We have three long tables in our classroom. We sit 6-7 kids at each table. I have provided pencil boxes for them, but they need a place to store their pencil boxes as well as journals. As you might guess, they are pretty crowded in their space. Chair pockets in varying colors will also serve as a way to group my students as they move from center to center and when they begin guided reading with me. I also would like a cool science STEM activity for the science center. Providing hands-on activities for students really stimulates their desire to learn.
