The money manipulative will give my kids the ability to not only visualize but actually practice their money counting and spending skills needed following high school. The tactile tools allow the students to have hands-on experience in real-life situations.
The calculators will allow the students to calculate totals and change in order to decide if the totals are reasonable. This is essential for independence in post-secondary life.
The headphones will allow my students the opportunity to experience the full benefits of the online math activities while not distracting the students around them. The straps will allow my behavior students to release the energy and frustration they can build during a class period in a quiet and appropriate way.
