This will be the first full year for my students in the classroom after a year of distance learning and learning at home. Having a carpet will give us a set space to meet every morning and build our classroom community to start and end our days together. They will have an opportunity to sit in a comfortable spot and dive into the new books that they are just now beginning to learn to read for themselves. Encouraging the art of reading and teaching them to enjoy a good book every day.
