These books and educational materials will bring the reading classroom to life. Often the students are bored with the book selections at school because they are not culturally relevant or timely. If this project is funded, the students will have a more diverse collection of books so they can see themselves in the stories and learn more about the world. The students will learn more because the content available will be more interesting and timely. This project will help bring the joy back into reading for lots of great students. The students will be able to read about the perspectives of other people in the world.

About my class
